This is what makes the Formula usable in Adventure, although still not advisable. The Jump Shocks will increase the power of the boost, allowing the Wings to activate and carry the vehicle forward over big pits. Dipping the car/performing front flips can reduce downforce, which can be seen a lot in Time Trials.Īs for the Kangaroo setup, the Landing Boost carries the vehicle really far in all game modes. Other speed-related Tuning Parts such as the Landing Boost, Overcharged Turbo and Fuel Boost work well with the Formula, as it is focused on speed rather than stunts, like flips, air time, and wheelies. The Formula's acceleration from standstill is average, though this can be improved with the Start Boost Tuning Part. The Winter Tires Tuning Part can help mitigate the issue. Due to the Formula's weak grip, it's not very good to use in Adventure and on snowy surfaces. Without downforce, the vehicle has its speed reduced to ~25m/s (90km/h), and bounces a lot more, which greatly weakens its already low grip. Due to the quick falling in the air, some parts may be broken if landing too hard. However, its downforce may work against the player, as the vehicle is not able to "glide" in the air. The Formula's high speed is attributed to its front and rear spoilers, which give tremendous downforce to keep the car on the ground. This seems to have less of an effect on Super Diesel.
When suspension is at max level, the Formula's Center of Mass becomes very light, but since the damping is high, the Jump Shocks will be relatively weak, since the power of Jump Shocks is based on a vehicle's suspension level.
The Tuning Part Landing Boost does really well, especially when the Suspension is at a low level. The Suspension can be altered from really low and bouncy to really high and tight. The Formula is better in Cups and Time Trials, as it has a low Fuel capacity of 30 seconds. Being a vehicle with a low ground clearance, it works best with relatively flat surfaces. The Formula is tied with Supercar as the fastest vehicle in the game, going up to 100km/h (27.77m/s), and also has great downforce.
